It was the way Jongin laughed that did Luhan in.
When he first saw Jongin, he had never expected once, for Jongin to be anything than the first impressions he gave. A dancer, intense and concentrated and charismatic unlike any other Luhan had met before.
But then Jongin smiled, then Jongin laughed and it was as if he had never known Jongin before.
“I don't understand why doesn't he notice!” Luhan threw his arms out exaggeratedly and fall upon Minseok. “I think I'm fairly obvious whenever I like someone.”
“Try very,” Minseok gave a quiet chuckle.
“Very,” Luhan frowned. “Very, and Kim Jongin didn't notice.”
“To be fair, you're very obvious to everyone,” Minseok gave Luhan a reassuring pat on his shoulder, except with the words he said, he wasn't very reassuring.
“So you're saying he doesn't notice his crush on him because I'm a sell-out.”
“Exactly.”
Luhan would like to think that his credit he tried a lot harder for Jongin. He tried to read Jongin's awful difficult books in Korean. He watched Jongin's strange films and managed to stay awake. He touched Jongin a lot during the times they watched the film.
Yet Jongin still smiled in the hallway the same way as he did before. Still call him “Luhan-hyung”. Still touched him a little but nowhere near special and enough.
Yet every smile, every 'Luhan-hyung's and every touch, special or not made Luhan more and more frustrated instead.
It was after a while that he gave up and kissed Jongin deeply. They were watching a movie and Luhan was frustrated at how Jongin didn't acknowledge his touches anymore than just subtle hand holding back and leaning in a little more.
He pushed Jongin down and kissed and kissed and Jongin didn't resist him one bit.
Jongin laughed when Luhan let him breathe.
Luhan wasn't sure what Jongin was to do next so he watched and watched, every movement Jongin made, even the slightest twitch of every muscle.
And he watched as Jongin drew closer, but he stopped when Jongin kissed him, choosing to close his eyes and taste Jongin's lips instead.
“I was waiting for that,” Jongin laughed. “I was waiting for you.”
“Then why didn't you do anything?”
“I wasn't sure if it was just me.”
“So it was because I was a sell out?”
Jongin kissed Luhan again, shutting down Luhan's groan.
“You are a sell out hyung.”
“Just for you now.”
And Jongin laughed. Luhan loved that laugh.
“Better be.”
